CloudPastry is an online platform operated by Hunters for Trade and Supply Chains LLC ("Hunters, LLC"), a limited-liability company registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Throughout this document, "CloudPastry", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Hunters, LLC operating the CloudPastry platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how Hunters, LLC ("we"), operating the CloudPastry platform, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data. We handle personal data in accordance with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, phone number, email and, for sellers, business details.
  • Location & order data: approximate or precise location (used to show only shops that deliver to your area and verify delivery coverage), delivery address, order contents and history, and communications with us.
  • Payment data: we do not store full card numbers. Card payments entered on our card payment page (with bank 3D Secure OTP) or made via native Apple Pay are processed by our licensed banking partner (CIB) on secure PCI-DSS-compliant systems; we receive only a transaction result and limited reference data.
  • Technical data: device, browser, IP address and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your data

  • To create and manage your account, show shops that deliver to your area, and process and deliver your orders;
  • To take payment and issue invoices (including ETA e-invoices);
  • To provide customer support and respond to enquiries;
  • To improve and secure the Platform and prevent fraud;
  • To send service messages and, with your consent, marketing communications.

3. Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and e-invoicing), for our legitimate interests in operating the Platform securely, and on the basis of your consent where required by law.

4. Sharing your data

We share data only as needed with: the relevant Seller to fulfil your order; our banking and payment partners (CIB, Apple Pay, and Apple / Google in-app billing for seller subscriptions) to process payments; the Egyptian Tax Authority for e-invoicing; and service providers who help us run the Platform under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls and secured, backed-up infrastructure — to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

7. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to access your data, correct it, request its erasure, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as language), and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children

The Platform is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data without guardian consent.
