Return & Refund Policy

CloudPastry is an online platform operated by Hunters for Trade and Supply Chains LLC ("Hunters, LLC"), a limited-liability company registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Throughout this document, "CloudPastry", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Hunters, LLC operating the CloudPastry platform.

This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights to cancel an order, return products and receive a refund when you buy through CloudPastry. It is provided in line with the Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and its executive regulations.

1. Cancelling before dispatch

You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before it has been prepared or dispatched by the Seller. If you have already paid, the full amount is refunded to your original payment method or to your CloudPastry wallet.

2. Food & made-to-order items

Because most products on CloudPastry are fresh food, perishable, or made/decorated to order, and for reasons of hygiene and food safety, such items cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been delivered — except where the item is defective, spoiled, incorrect, or not as described (see section 3). This reflects the exceptions to the cooling-off right under the Consumer Protection Law for perishable and custom-made goods.

3. Damaged, incorrect or non-conforming items

You are entitled to a replacement or a full refund if the product you receive is:

  • damaged, spoiled or unfit for consumption on delivery;
  • different from what you ordered; or
  • materially not as described on the Platform.

Please report the problem to us within 24 hours of delivery for food/perishable items (or within 14 days for non-perishable, durable products), keeping the item and packaging where possible and providing a photo. After verification, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

4. Non-perishable / durable products

For any non-perishable durable goods sold through the Platform, you may return the item within 14 days of receipt if it is unused and in its original condition, in line with the Consumer Protection Law. Return shipping for a change-of-mind return may be at your cost; return shipping for defective or incorrect items is at our or the Seller's cost.

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (card or cash), or to your CloudPastry wallet if you prefer faster credit.
  • Card refunds are processed through our payment provider (Paymob) and typically appear within 7 to 14 business days, depending on your bank.
  • Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded to your wallet or by an agreed transfer method.
